Working patterns
Teaching staff: Working time for teachers is determined by the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document. This specifies that a full time teacher must be available to work 195 days a year and can be directed to perform duties at such times and such places specified by the Headteacher for 1265 hours, allocated reasonably throughout the 195 days. Support staff: Schools and academies who follow the Modern Reward Strategy (MRS) the table below details the working arrangements which will apply.
