Budget Planner Update

We have updated the budget planner with the recommended teacher payscales to be implemented from September 2023. However, the new scales will not be laid in parliament until mid October and then 21 days after the pay order is laid will the pay become live. The pay award will then be applied as soon as possible to payroll with payment being backdated to 1^st September 2023. With the government accepting the School Teachers’ Review Body recommendations we felt it essential to update the budget planner so schools can start planning their revision 2 budgets with the most up to date information.
