Staff Codes

 

Following the Finance Focus article last week regarding Staff Codes, there may have been some confusion as to what has changed. Current Staff Codes ending -0 to -9 are still valid within Star Accounts and the Budget Planner – there is no requirement to change these to a 2-digit code. 

 

There are currently around 45 employees within schools in Norfolk whose staff code does end in 2 digits (-10, -11 etc), so the changes made are to future-proof the software.

 

As part of the download process any missing Staff Codes within your accounts will automatically be created and listed at the bottom of the download report.  If you have a new staff member listed with a 2-digit code on the download report then the corresponding budget for that staff member may need updating in the Budget Planner (if they have a staffing budget assigned).
