Support Staff Pay Award 2021 Update

UNISON, GMB and Unite Trade Unions are balloting members on the pay offer, effective 1 April 2021, for colleagues paid on salary scales A-S.

The National Employers have made a final pay offer to the National Joint Council for Local Government Services Unions of:

- a 2.75% increase to national pay point 1 (our Scale A) for all support staff with effect from 1 April 2021,

- a 1.75% increase to national pay points 2 and above (our scales B and above) for all support staff with effect from 1 April 2021.

Please let your support staff know that if they are a union member, they are encouraged to vote in the ballot.
