This section provides job descriptions and person specifications for jobs specifically relating to education support roles in special schools.  There are 6 job descriptions in this category ranging from a Classroom Assistant to a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. Self-employed and Off-payroll working

The introduction of Off-payroll working in the public sector legislation (IR35) applies to payments made on or after 6 April 2017. This legislation ensures that individuals who work through their own company pay employment taxes in a similar way to employees, where they would be employed were it not for the personal service companies (PSC) or other intermediary that they work through. This section provides information regarding what the off-payroll working rules are and how to check whether the off-payroll working rules apply.

The supply recruitment process

This section provides information regarding how EducationHR Norfolk Supply Register recruit and check supply teachers. EducationHR operates a register for supply teachers in Norfolk. Any teacher who wishes to work in a school on a supply basis, who is not also employed on a contract at that same school, needs to complete the registration process. This includes a number of mandatory pre-employment checks, which are outlined below.

Supply On Call Service

This section provides details on how to access the EducationHR Norfolk Supply Register. We have a Supply on Call service available for all schools and trusts to access, which is just a phone call away should you have a question about supply or if you are not a HR Service A or HR Service H customers to request us to undertake a search for a supply need on your behalf.
