TUPE
This section provides advice and guidance regarding TUPE. The Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006 [as amended] are commonly referred to as TUPE. These regulations provide employment rights to employees when their employer changes as a result of a transfer of undertakings.
The regulations apply in specific circumstances. TUPE is a very complex legal area and school leaders are advised to involve HR at the earliest opportunity.
