Hot works
Hot works refers to any activity that produces heat, sparks or flame. The risk from hot works taking place is that there is the potential for fire or explosion to result. It is NCC’s policy that hot works do not take place unless there is no cold method of working available. It is the responsibility of managers in control of premises to ensure that hot work is adequately managed. Further details can be found below.
