Secondary drama may expose pupils and employees to a number of potentially significant hazards. These could include working at height (ladders, mobile tower scaffolds, platforms and stage lighting), moving and handling scenery, electrical safety, fire safety (when staging productions) and use of props and special effects. Safe working practices necessary to manage these risks are detailed in this code of practice.
