Early Career Teachers Induction
Early Career Teachers (ECTs) must complete a compulsory period of induction. The induction period follows initial teacher training and the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and must be undertaken by ECTs who wish to continue teaching in maintained schools and non-maintained special schools.
